When I perform a search on WordPress I find so many blogs. I see so much of time and energy has gone into posting each message. Sometimes the graphics are very interesting while at other times the titles blow you over.
But in the larger picture are some more important than others?
Should we follow our instincts and passions or seek an order in the world around us? Is hunger more important than aesthetics? Are inventions more important than illusions? Or is there a place for each?
Here are a few guidelines one can use while birthing something creative:
- Does this fit into any larger picture/plan?
- How many lives will this make worthwhile impact on?
- Will I regret this later in life?
- Does this violate the sanctity of life?
- What are my motives behind this?
I do not intend to snuff out all creativity or the gay abandon that can go with expression, what I do mean is limiting energy and content that will eventually find its way into trash.
